RNR Wheels & Tires

We Didn't Re-Invent the Wheel... Just The Wheel Business.

FAQs

Please feel free to post questions to store locations if you don't find what you are looking for here.

  1. What is RENT-N-ROLL?
    • RENT-N-ROLL is a program that allows you to pay for the wheels and/or tires you want in easy weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payments with no credit hassles.
  2. Can I Buy instead of Rent?
    • Of course. We offer the lowest cash prices on wheels or tires and have a huge selection of both new and previously rented merchandise.
  3. What do I need to get started?
    • Simply bring in a valid drivers license, current pay stubs, utility bill, vehicle registration and your social security card.
  4. What brands do you carry?
    • Brands vary by location, but we carry just about every major brand in both wheels and tires. A few examples are: Goodyear, Michelin, Pirelli, Dub, KMC, Lexani and many more... If you have a favorite, call a location near you to find out if they have it available.
  5. How should I care for my wheels?
    • We recommend treating your wheels' finish just like your cars' finish. Wash and wax with a cleaner made for automobiles when the wheels are cool. Never use abrasive cleansers, steel wool pads or polishing compounds. Beware of automatic car washes. Some washes use acid cleaners either before or during the wash to remove dirt and grime. Others use stiff brushes for cleaning wheels and tires. Both of these processes could harm your wheel's finish. Ask the employees or manager of the car wash about their equipment and procedures before entering the wash. Most importantly, enjoy your wheels!
  6. What can you tell me about RNR?
    • RNR/RENT-N-ROLL opened the doors to their first location in Tampa, FL October 2000. Currently there are over 60 stores nationwide. RNR offers to the customer a place with skilled employees that are trained to service high-end custom wheels as well as your traditional passenger tire. RNR continues to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to customer relations and professional service technicians. Many locations are franchise stores right in your community and look forward to building a lasting relationship to continue to offer you outstanding service.
  7. Why would I want nitrogen put in my tires?
    • For tire inflation, there’s nothing better than nitrogen. Nitrogen provides better maintenance of tire pressure which maximizes...Fuel Economy, Handling, Safety & Reliability, Tire Life...and it’s better for the environment!
  8. Is nitrogen dangerous?
    • Absolutely Not. 78.1% of the air we breathe is nitrogen. Nitrogen is a non-flammable, inert gas which does not support combustion, as oxygen does. Nitrogen will not cause any increased chance of an explosion or fire during a vehicle accident. Therefore, nitrogen is actually much safer than compressed air for virtually any tire application - and one reason why it is used by commercial aircraft and professional race teams around the world.

Justin, most of our franchisee's honor a 30 day price match gty ,if presented with a written quote from the competitor. It must be for the same exact wheel and must include everything we include which is a complete Road force balance, free locks , free lugs, as well as free flat repair and free rotate and balance for as long as the tires are on your car. We find that many competitors will quote you a lower price and then add back a charge for those services. If all of the above  has been met ,Let me know which store you dealt with and I can review their companies policy in regard to to their Price match policy.

Thanks for your business!!

Charles , it depends on the location you are doing business with !! Not all location have online payment options just yet !please call your store manager or choose the location on the locations page on this site and that should help you ! Someone should have shown you how to pay online when you signed up providing that franchise offers online payments !!

David, First of all thank you for your interest in doing business with us ! in this case , I will have to defer to the franchise you are planning to do business with as different franchisees have different rules in regard to how far they can use the payment plan ! If you contact the store manager and give him your situation, he might be able to find a solution !

I really do appreciate your desire to want to do business with us and hope they can work something out for you!!

Larry, I'm interested in putting some new tires on my truck. My question for you is, is there a minimum mile living radius requirenment to qualify for the rent-n-roll/120 days same as cash payment program options? I'm a LSU graduate class of 09' and work full-time at a highly creditable offshore oil & gas company. You see, the reason for my question is because I've lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for the past 8 years but I recently moved back to my home town of Ville Platte, La which is about 70 miles from Baton Rouge. Would I still be able to qualify for those payment programs even though i dont actually live in Baton Rouge, La?

Stevie, Thanks for the heads up. This store certainly does not represent our normal presentation across the country. We allow our franchisees lattitude to experiment however this one appears to not be attractive to the wheel and tire customers !! We will be passing on these comments to the local owners!

Thanks for the heads up!!

Takira ,

Thanks for letting me know the results. I will check with them on that time issue. I am glad you were able to get the refund.

Morning Mr. Larry, Well I called the store first thing this morning. They told me no matter if I pay online or in-store I should have my payment submitted by 5:01. I then began to tell them that was not mentioned during my contract signing and my account should be credit back the $20. They in turn told me they couldn’t credit or refund my money because I had already paid. I asked for corporate # to which I was then put on hold until the rep spoke with the onsite mgr. In the end they decided to credit my account back the over payment. I’ve never had a problem with the Memphis store but lack of terms and policies need to be relayed better to prevent issues like this.

Dear Terry, as of now we do not handle golf cart rims. Your best bet would probably be online for that type of product ! Be sure and give us a shot at your business when you need tires or consider rims. I am certain you will not be disappointed !

Comment by Larry Sutton on November 4, 2012 at 3:06pm
Dear Takira, there should not be a late charge if you pay your account on the day it is due ! Is it possible you could one week behind ? Ask the store manager to confirm your account status, so you will know exactly when your curren renewal date is !
Comment by Takira Vasser on November 3, 2012 at 8:57pm

Better yet i'm going to pay the bill as it shows in my online account and i would like my card credit back the overpayment of $20. There was no speech about making my payment by a certain time of the day.

Comment by Takira Vasser on November 3, 2012 at 8:57pm

Why do I have a late fee charge when my bill is due every saturday? To my knowledge right now is still comsidered to be saturday. I'm not paying this fee until i'm able to speak to someone about my acct. I've tried calling the store. I'll try back in the morning.
