RNR Wheels & Tires

We Didn't Re-Invent the Wheel... Just The Wheel Business.

FAQs

Please feel free to post questions to store locations if you don't find what you are looking for here.

  1. What is RENT-N-ROLL?
    • RENT-N-ROLL is a program that allows you to pay for the wheels and/or tires you want in easy weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payments with no credit hassles.
  2. Can I Buy instead of Rent?
    • Of course. We offer the lowest cash prices on wheels or tires and have a huge selection of both new and previously rented merchandise.
  3. What do I need to get started?
    • Simply bring in a valid drivers license, current pay stubs, utility bill, vehicle registration and your social security card.
  4. What brands do you carry?
    • Brands vary by location, but we carry just about every major brand in both wheels and tires. A few examples are: Goodyear, Michelin, Pirelli, Dub, KMC, Lexani and many more... If you have a favorite, call a location near you to find out if they have it available.
  5. How should I care for my wheels?
    • We recommend treating your wheels' finish just like your cars' finish. Wash and wax with a cleaner made for automobiles when the wheels are cool. Never use abrasive cleansers, steel wool pads or polishing compounds. Beware of automatic car washes. Some washes use acid cleaners either before or during the wash to remove dirt and grime. Others use stiff brushes for cleaning wheels and tires. Both of these processes could harm your wheel's finish. Ask the employees or manager of the car wash about their equipment and procedures before entering the wash. Most importantly, enjoy your wheels!
  6. What can you tell me about RNR?
    • RNR/RENT-N-ROLL opened the doors to their first location in Tampa, FL October 2000. Currently there are over 60 stores nationwide. RNR offers to the customer a place with skilled employees that are trained to service high-end custom wheels as well as your traditional passenger tire. RNR continues to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to customer relations and professional service technicians. Many locations are franchise stores right in your community and look forward to building a lasting relationship to continue to offer you outstanding service.
  7. Why would I want nitrogen put in my tires?
    • For tire inflation, there’s nothing better than nitrogen. Nitrogen provides better maintenance of tire pressure which maximizes...Fuel Economy, Handling, Safety & Reliability, Tire Life...and it’s better for the environment!
  8. Is nitrogen dangerous?
    • Absolutely Not. 78.1% of the air we breathe is nitrogen. Nitrogen is a non-flammable, inert gas which does not support combustion, as oxygen does. Nitrogen will not cause any increased chance of an explosion or fire during a vehicle accident. Therefore, nitrogen is actually much safer than compressed air for virtually any tire application - and one reason why it is used by commercial aircraft and professional race teams around the world.

Brian , I am very sorry you are not having a good experience! Not all franchise offer online payments so if you are getting calls about that service ,I can only assume yours does ! If you could tell me where you are located I can look into it for you !
Since you are obviously making payments I assume you are using our rent to own plan which Walmart does not offer ! This is more expensive than a strait deal, however we offer the cash option as well and our cash price installed is every bit as good as Walmart plus you get the advantage of tire professionals and you also get lifetime rotate and balance which Walmart does not provide !!
Again I apologize for your less than pleasant experience but I am certain it can be corrected by simply calling the store manager where you began your account !!
We do appreciate your business very much and would like the oppurtunity to correc this situation !!

Why do I keep getting automated calls saying I can pay online, and when I get here, I cant???? Im tired of the phone calls, when you cant even run a decent website, and Im tired of the emails.  This place is a joke, the same tires I purchased I can save $300. at walmart for the exact tire.  Ive had them for a month and have recieved nothing but harrasing phone calls telling me to pay online, and emails several times a day.

Dear Katie, I am very sorry that this has occurred ! We do not recommend that kind of response to any of our franchisees !! As you said legally they should have just taken the product back by scheduling you to return the tires if you could not renew the agreement !! I really do not like to find out that any of our franchisees have disrespected a customer ! However I will say that our bonding company is very specific with us about how long we can leave a renewal unresolved ! What should have happened here is for the store to have scheduled an appointment to have return the product and reinstalled your original product on your car assuming you kept your old tires that were removed !! I can understand your frustration but please understand that the company that insures us will not allow us to leave product on a car when the agreement is not renewed ! This was not the right way to precede and I apologize for this action ! I assume you are referring to the East-gate store in Cincinnati! I will forward your letter to the franchise owner for that location !!

I am appalled at the way the eastgate location does business. I am behind on my payments 3 weeks, and the guy from rent n roll came to my house Saturday morning probably around 9:30am. I was sleeping upstairs and woke up to the dog barking downstairs. I looked out the window and saw the rent n roll guy getting in his can and leaving. There was no notice that they had been to the house. (I have asked them before to get a hold of me via email if needed as I don't have a phone and can't take personal calls at work.) I went outside to look at the car and found my back two tires were flat. The guy had damaged the stem valves on the tires. Now I don't know how that solves anything at all. I could see repossessing the tires because they are legally yours until they are paid off, but to destroy them???? For why purpose, to inconvenience me. Makes no sense at all.... I know that they have not filed with the state to put a lien on the tires because my lawyer checked for me. Again I am just appalled at the level that this was taken to and I will be putting a report into the bbb and have already files a police report, because what was done was not legal.
Thanks just wanted to put my two sense in

Hello Jason, Unfortunately the rent-n-roll program is limited to 25 mile radius of closest store. Ou bonding company writes the rules!! I am sorry we cant help you with a payment program when you are outside of that parameter ! Thanks for writing in and inquiring and hopefullo someday soon we will have a franchise in your area!!

Hi I was wounderin if i can order tires and hav them sent to me cause i dont live near any stores. I also would like to do rent n roll. Is this possible?

Comment by Larry Sutton on March 1, 2013 at 12:13pm

Micheal, it depends on where you are! Some of the fr5anchisees have online payment feature and others are in the process of introducing it ! Check with the local store to see if they have it yet!!

Can I pay online
Comment by Larry Sutton on February 12, 2013 at 12:53pm

Dear Michael,

It will depend on your rental order. It is usaually a requirement to have a job , as your unemployment benefits will run out at some point. Best idea is to visit your local RNR and see what they might be able to do for you!!

Comment by Larry Sutton on February 12, 2013 at 12:51pm

Dear Carl,

The $5100 is the total of payments if you do not excersise the early payoff feature! About one half of a rental payment goes towards the wheels and tires! The other half is rental fees. If you do a one time payout at any time , you would receive a 50% discount on the balance of the remaining payments, as all remaining rental fees would cease at that time!

The best thing to do would be to visit the store and have them print out your payment history , and I am sure the manager there can explain the current balance !!

Thanks for your business by the way and I hope you are enjoying your wheels!

Hello, I need to know that if my unemployment is $535 a week. Can I rent  some rims and tires?

Comment by Carl on February 9, 2013 at 12:16pm
Hi Larry. I was curious as to why when you make payments online there's not a balance showing how far you have to go. I've been making payments since April 2012. I've paid at minimum a little over $2800. That's almost more than half of the buyout amount which was like a little over $1400. I pay $65.40 every week. If my account says 78 payments that's 5100. It just can't be right. Am I doing something wrong?

Dear Luba , we would need more specifics to be able to help. We need the size ,bolt pattern and offset of the wheels you purchased in order to determine if there is a way to fit them onto your car ! I hope you did not them online !!

Hello. I recently bought RTX Neurotoxin rims for my mazda 3 and I went to 3 different dealerships to try go get them installed but I was told they will not fit and I need a rubber grommet or gasket kit. Does RNR offer either one of them?

Thanks
